FURMAN UNIVERSITY SUMMER SCHOLARS (High School Students) -- July 11 -17, 2010 & July 18-24, 2010.

Furman's Summer Scholars programs include one- and two-week academic enrichment programs designed for rising high school juniors and seniors. Rising sophomores may be considered for certain programs. Students study in small group settings under the direction of Furman faculty members. Summer Scholars programs typically include a variety of learning experiences such as lectures, class discussions, debates, laboratory experiences, field trips, group and individual projects, and other activities intended to provide an enjoyable and challenging engaged learning experience.
